Join us for another amazing night of storytelling at the Bath House Cultural Center!!
This is part of our Stewpot open mic series, welcoming audience members as well as storytellers of all levels. Performers names are drawn from a stewpot, and each storyteller has five minutes to share a story based on the night’s theme with no notes allowed during the performance. It’s an authentic, unfiltered, and captivating night that promises laughter, tears, and unforgettable connections.
Prompt:
Tell us a five-minute story about a time you got lucky. Maybe it was a moment when things could have gone very wrong, but somehow you dodged a bullet literally or figuratively. Maybe you took a chance and won big at a casino, landed a job you didn’t think you’d get, or stumbled into an opportunity that changed your life. Perhaps you were in the right place at the right time for something unexpected. A last-minute decision worked out perfectly, you avoided a bad situation without realizing it, or a small coincidence led to something much bigger.
However luck showed up for you, big or small, we want to hear about it.
