Magic of Chroma and The Grey World (Ages 9-12)

Class Description: The Magic of Chroma and The Grey World class will introduce color mixing techniques to students ages 9-11. Students will paint a color wheel (primary and secondary colors), learn color theory (shade, tint, tone) and paint a grey value scale chart. Each participant will leave with a paint palette to continue their art studies at home. The class is limited to 12 students (ages 9-12) and is free.

Artist Bio: Larry Paul Jones is university trained in traditional fine arts at S.M.U. by studio professors Wingren, Winter, Wilder, Scholder, and influenced by Art Historian, Dr. Allessandra Comini. Most recently, Jones has exhibited his work in the 2023 El Corazón exhibition at the Bath House Cultural Center.
