ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
In this workshop, students will create an extraordinary, altered art object that combines 2D and 3D objects with text, images, and surface design. Students will learn to embrace the contemporary styles of image transfer and various elements of collage applications. They will select from a collection of choice photos, stamps, inks, decorative papers and found objects of all shapes and sizes and will discover the power of art through personal expression.
Students ages 18 and older are welcome.
CLASS LOCATION
The workshop will take place in the lake-level space of the Bath House Cultural Center, at 521 E. Lawther Dr., Dallas, TX 75218 (White Rock Lake).
SUPPLIES NEEDED
- The instructor will provide all the materials for this workshop.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
- The workshop will take place in the lake-level area of the Bath House Cultural Center. There is no air conditioning in the lake-level, but the center will provide fans and coolers to keep the space comfortable.
- All the students are encouraged to maintain social distancing and wear face covering while they are in class.
CLASS REGISTRATION
This workshop is free, but space is limited to 18 students, ages 18 and older. The students will be registered on a first-come-first served basis.
