This is a call for design portfolios only, please do not design for the event unless selected. The City of Dallas, Office of Arts & Culture invites Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) artists residing in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex to submit a portfolio for consideration to design the promotional material for the city’s 2nd Annual AAPI Heritage and Dragon Boat Festival at White Rock Lake on Sunday, May 18, 2025. Selected artist will be compensated $800 to design a save the date, poster/flyer/banner (print media), social media graphics, and t-shirt design for the 2nd Annual AAPI Heritage and Dragon Boat Festival.   

ELIGIBILITY
– AAPI community members are highly encouraged to apply.

– Artist must reside in the DFW Metroplex

– Artist must be able to work collaboratively with event organizers to create final promotional graphics.

– Artist must be able to register as a City of Dallas vendor and fill out a W9 form.
