During this workshop, students will be guided by artist Tiara Unique Francois through the process of creating their own work of art, using their image as inspiration.
Utilizing watercolor paint, markers, and glitter glue, they will use different painting and collage techniques to create a self portrait.

Tiara Unique Francois is a painter, born and raised in Dallas, Tx. She has earned her BFA in painting at the University of Texas at Arlington. Utilizing acrylics, paint markers, glitter shimmer, watercolor and ink, her focus is Black Southern Americana, visual depictions of interpersonal relationships, memories and self.
Her residency at ON::View in Savannah resulted in a solo exhibition titled “Finding Indigo”.
She has shown work in group exhibitions in Texas, Georgia and California.
