Reception with the Artists: Saturday, December 6 (5-7 PM)
The Ageless Passion exhibition returns for its third installment, shining a well-deserved spotlight on DFW artists who have joyfully crossed the age of 65. Too often, the art world focuses on the promise of youth, leaving the wisdom and creativity of seasoned artists in the background. This exhibition turns that around, celebrating their remarkable achievements, lifelong dedication, and lasting cultural impact.
This year’s exhibition is once again juried and curated by Dallas visual artist and independent curator Susan Lecky, who has brought together many successful exhibitions for the City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture.
Beyond its celebration of individual accomplishment, Ageless Passion affirms the immense value that artists with long and sustained careers bring to the cultural life of Dallas. These artists have helped shape the city’s visual identity for decades, offering perspectives refined through experience and commitment. Providing them with a dedicated platform ensures that their voices continue to enrich public dialogue and that the community remains connected to the creative legacies that have helped build its cultural foundation.
The exhibition includes artwork in a variety of media by Donna Adams, Future Akins & William Haner, Ruda Anderson, Rita Barnard, Sue Benner, David Blow, Jackie Brown, Judith Burkart, Fears Cat, Roy Cirigliana, Sue Cobb, Walt Davis, Isabel Davis, Jerry Dodd, Dale DuBord, Lori Dudley, Gisa Elwazir, Cecelia Feld, Ronna Gilbert, Janice Goetz, Daniele Guillaume , Ron Hollister, Bill Holmberg, Terry Holmberg, Sherry Houpt, Ann Huey, Jeff Hukill, Sigrun Hukill, Norman Kary, Susan Lecky, Sara R Lennon, Ellen Locy, Wayne Loucas, Jackie Maclelland, Steve McDaniel, Lin Medlin, David Mikitka, Christine Miller, Nancy E.
