Lakefront Live! 2023

Lakefront Live! is a global, eclectic, free concert series takes over the Lake Level with a dynamic mix of the Dallas area’s best musicians. These artists will draw you into their worlds with big sounds, intimate moments, and everything in between. With our unique semi-enclosed, indoor-outdoor performance space, you can sit up close or picnic on the lawn and enjoy the incredible sunsets at White Rock Lake.

Lakefront Live! concerts will run every other Tuesday in September and October. All shows begin at 7:30 pm. We have some seating available, but please feel free to bring your chairs and blankets!

September 26 – Brianne Sargent

Brianne Sargent, September 26, 2023 | Brianne Sargent (cellist, bass player, synths/keys, vocals) is the co-leader of Skinny Cooks and plays with Polyphonic Spree, Alejandro Escovedo, Mattie Michelle and many others. She is also a composer, arranger and producer. She graduated from Interlochen Arts Academy in 2006, attended Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts from 2002-2005 and graduated from Baldwin-Wallace Music Conservatory in 2010. From 2014-2018 she was a cellist in the McKinney Philharmonic. Brianne was the sound designer for “Where Earth Meets The Sky” with the Cara Mia Theater and a guest artist for the Dallas Symphony’s SOLUNA Festival in 2017. She has appeared in multiple articles written by KXT Radio, KERA, the Dallas Observer and Voyage Dallas and has appeared on PBS for the Austin City Music Hall Of Fame induction in 2022—while sharing the stage with Sheila E—playing cello for Alejandro Escovedo. Her bass playing has made it to the Billboard charts with local rapper phenomenon FloZilla on the Truth to Power Project and her cello playing has made it to Billboard charts on the Todd Dulaney song Revelation 4. In 2022 her composition “Sunflower” for cello and voice was placed into a movie called “Why Women Lie” in the opening credits.

Brianne is slated to be a guest clinician/speaker at the Women in Classical Music Symposium in Dallas from November 12-15, 2023 hosted by the Dallas Symphony.

Monica Saldivar, October 10, 2023 | Monica Saldivar is a multi-award-winning artist from Grand Prairie, TX. She was awarded the “Best New Female Artist” at the 2020 Tejano Music Awards and won the Austin-based nationwide singing competition, Tejano Idol in 2015. Monica is one of the hottest up and coming vocalists in the Tejano genre who continues to excel with each musical release and performance. She is a 2012 graduate of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts Dallas, TX, as well as a 2017 graduate of Dallas Baptist University with a major in Music Business / Vocal Performance. Monica has been featured on Spotify Editorial playlists which has helped expand her following along with having locked down regular rotation throughout Tejano airwaves. Influenced by many different genres in English and Spanish, Monica has a wide variety of music sure to delight everyone in the audience.


October 24- Dana Harper

Dana Harper is guided by love as both an artist and individual. Reaching far beyond the confines of romantic love, the expressive songstress lives a life deeply rooted in true love of self, love of community, and love of life itself. A Dallas-native, Harper’s music is about embracing and celebrating life’s universal experiences. Her tone and style boasts the polish of an artist who has meticulously studied her craft, while simultaneously reflecting a completely distinctive quality. She holds a strong sense of control over voice, allowing her to exercise a truly impressive range of vocal agility and expression. Harper released her first album in 2009 before moving to New York City, where she graced the stages of iconic venues including The Apollo Theater and Madison Square Garden. Harper’s career has garnered her great acclaim and many notable accomplishments, including being a Top 20 contestant on season 11 of NBC’s hit tv show “The Voice,” as a member of Blake Shelton’s Team. Harper is excited to be sharing new music in the coming season, and offering a glimpse into the newest chapter of her life, from exercising self love, to navigating a career, and everything in between.

March 7 – Amari Amore

Amari Amor, March 7, 2023 | Amari is a 22 year old Indie Alt/Folk Singer-Songwriter from the DFW, Texas area. She is an alum from arts magnet school Booker T. Washington High School in Dallas, and is a also recent graduate from UNT in Denton where she received her Bachelors in Music. Amari has been recognized for many achievements such as a: YoungArts Merit Winner, Pickup Music Emerging Artist Finalist, NPR North Texas’ Top 20 under 20 Artists and many more! She released her debut EP titled ‘Complications’ in 2018 and recently released her debut album ‘Evolution’. Her sound has been described as: ethereal, lush, and sometimes haunting blending a mix of folk/soul elements in her voice and music. March 21 – Ceci Ceci

Ceci Ceci, March 21, 2023 | Ceci Ceci is a Nicaraguan-Ecuadorian singer-songwriter and guitarist residing in Dallas, Texas. In her music, one finds a diversity of sounds, stemming from her multi-cultural background. Her biggest influences are artists such as Julieta Venegas, Jorge Drexler, and Stevie Wonder. Her latest EP, Fruta Tropical is an ode to Latin American music. The three-song record offers a modern take on genres such as son cubano, ska, and reggae. At 23 years of age, Ceci Ceci is ready to show her multi-faceted musical ability as a Latin indie artist and composer. 


April 11 – Wes Case

Wesley Case, April 11, 2023 | Guitarist and composer Wes Case is among the most in-demand band leaders and sidemen in DFW, with music engaging audiences of all generations.  Upon graduating from UNT’s jazz program in 2015, he began performing and traveling throughout Latin America, studying Uruguay’s folk music Candombe in Montevideo, Quechua (an Andean language) while in Peru, as well the rich world of rhythm and guitar with Filó Machado(of Djavan) in Brazil. He recorded and released his debut album, “E Fado” during a trip back home in 2018. Now re-established in Texas, his performances weave a rhythmically rich and playful backdrop, incorporating influences from jazz giants like John Coltrane, Avishai Cohen, providing listeners with a journey through the most intimate and energetic dimensions of music.

Pretty Boy Aaron, May 9, 2023 | Aaron Cunningham (he/him) is better known in his native Dallas, TX as Pretty Boy Aaron. An all-encompassing creative who can’t help but make musical hits, quickly garnering over 20 million streams in just a few years including hits like “Comb my Hair” and “Nicotine”. His unique sound and equally charismatic personality only continue to garner momentum. Swiftly making his own distinct indie-pop/rap hybrid lane. This is impressive considering he writes, produces, and mixes all of his work. The best part of it all is Pretty Boy Aaron is just getting started.

Kamica King, May 23, 2023 | Kamica King is a Dallas-based singer-songwriter with a radiant stage presence whose soulful music can be described as rich, deep and affirming. She brings an uplifting folk/soul sound inspired by various styles of soul, jazz, folk, hip-hop and Afro-Caribbean music, with lyrics that depict the ups and downs of life. Kamica’s performances include the Kennedy Center (Arts Across America), Sway in the Morning, TEDx, South Dallas Cultural Center, throughout the state of Texas as a TCA Touring Roster artist, and abroad, also serving as a Cultural/Music Ambassador with the U.S. Dept. of State. 


June 6 – Sunbuzzed

Sunbuzzed, June 6, 2023 | Sunbuzzed is Lo Ramirez on guitar and vocals, Cari Cinquemani on lead guitar, Daniel Serrano on keys, and Ellie Alonzo on drums. Sunbuzzed creates a fresh, genre blending mold of psychedelia that is raw, heavy, and at times intensely dark. Their music and imagery are especially influenced by Tejano culture, occultism, astrology, and other esotericism.
