Pegasus Theatre presents: Mystery at the Old Cafe

Pegasus Theatre presents:

Mystery at the Old Cafe

March 14 – March 29, 2025
Presented at the Bath House Cultural Center in White Rock Lake Park

Join us for an all-new adventure in the Harry Hunsacker series…but with a trio of tomatoes on the case instead of Hunsacker and his pals! Bubbles La Tour is heartbroken that her fiancé, Lt Foster, will miss their wedding date. Her best gal pals and fellow dancers, Mae Johnson and Mei Hironaka do their best to console her. But soon, a series of murders at the old cafe take all of their attention. Can this trio of sharp-witted dames solve the murders, clear Mae’s uncle, and get Bubbles ready for her rescheduled nuptials? And do it in heels! Join the fun in this simulation of a live radio broadcast of the 1930s with our trademarked RadioVizion™ style!

What is RadioVizion?

RadioVizion™ is an alternative technique devised by Pegasus Theatre for the presentation of the Living Black & White® series of Harry Hunsacker adventures. RadioVizion™ does not employ the trade-secret makeup but instead focuses on evoking the experience and glamour of being in a live radio studio of the 1930s and 1940s. Live sound effects, actors at period style live microphones, and costumes suggestive of the era complete the effect.
