Echo Reads: The Clean House
Directed by Liz Ware
Stay after to kick off Echo Reads Salon Series with Sarah Ruhl’s The Clean House at 7:30 PM.
What happens when a life built on order begins to come undone?
Sarah Ruhl’s The Clean House is a whimsical play about the chaos we try to contain.
Centered on a doctor with a perfect home, a maid who hates to clean, and a family whose carefully managed lives begin to shift, this luminous comedy finds beauty in mess, tenderness in surprise, and humor in the places we least expect it.
A Susan Smith Blackburn Prize Winner & Pulitzer Prize in Drama Finalist.
About Echo Reads Salon Series:
Directors lightly rehearse readings of plays with professional actors who carry their scripts as they perform for the audience. After the reading, the audience is invited to stay to discuss the play with the Actors, Director, and Echo Creatives in a casual conversation.
Come for the Show – Stay for the Conversation!
